Karu Lures' Vibraspin

    Wow! Right when you thought that a bait couldn't be modified anymore, Karu Lures, maker of the Vibraspin really made the name and purpose of this lure crystal clear. Everyone knows about the chatterbait craze that hit early this year and its effectiveness. Well, Karu Lures added the chatter to a classic. As you can see there is a chatterblade in front of the spinnerbait. Dare we say this is the perfect amount of vibration and flash these bass have been after?

        We headed up to Lake Wateree once again to find five lucky anglers to test out the vibraspin. Here's what some of the anglers said.

    "After the first cast I was skeptical. Then I figured out I tied it upside, and after that it worked like a champ."
    Another angler said, "Its cold as... *** edited out *** ... I don't know what was chattering more. My teeth or this lure."

    So what makes this bait so great? We believe it's the perfect amount of vibration and flash. The perks don't stop there my friend. Karu Lures also made these babies in different sizes. Size 1 is for slow rolling, size 2 is for moderate retrieves and size 3 to really burn that bait in. Furthermore, if you fish it like a jig, every time the bait lowers it creates a brief gurgling effect.
    We kept to the rule of thumb by counting seconds to act as foot depth. Two seconds equals two feet ect. We used the size 1 primarily and slow rolled it due to the fact it was cold and bass were sluggish. We had a great amount of success as well as the anglers who tested the product. "I wish I had this secret weapon when heading to a tournament..." is how one angler put it.

    Not only is it a great lure, but it's craftsman ship is second to none. Although you may think $6.99 is pricey for a spinnerbait, a spinnerbait in fact is not what you're getting. When we asked our anglers if they bought a crankbait for the same price, what would they fish with? All five said the vibraspin.

    It's funny how something so simple can dramatically change our fishing experience. New lures hit the market at a very fast pace these days and it's nice to see a classic with a modern twist.
